January 18 and 19, 2020 – Macon, Georgia

Extreme 04 travel softball team players attended the Mercer University Elite Softball Camp on Saturday, January 18 and Sunday, January 19, 2020. The two-day softball instruction and skills camp was held at Sikes Field on the Mercer University campus in Macon, Georgia.

The team’s players had the opportunity to learn from both Mercer and several other college coaches, get tips and one-on-one instruction, ask questions directly to coaches, and the chance to showcase their skills at the end of both days. The players had a great time!

Even with the weather being less than perfect, it turned out to be quite a weekend. For players attending a college camp for the first time, their experience with the Mercer Softball coaches and players gave them an understanding of how valuable a college camp can be on their journeys to playing at the next level.

The open communication and talent of the Mercer coaches and players made for a collegiate softball camp very well worth attending. The overall experience for attending players was incredible.

Many thanks to Mercer Softball Head Coach Stephanie DeFeo and her staff and players for hosting the camp and coordinating with Extreme 04 players. Every one of the team’s players benefited greatly from spending time with the D1 coaches and players.
